In 2022 we secured a Major Sponsor for the next 3 years – Lowes Petroleum. We are so grateful for their support. The Riverina Field Days strength is the diversity & variety of agricultural machinery and products/services from the region.
Each year attendance is strong due to the ever-evolving range of attractions & number of diverse exhibitors. You’ll find everything from a spanner to a header, giftware to trucks, craft to confectionary, automotive, ag machinery arts and craft and more! The kids are also entertained to! It really is a field day for everyone!
Our success is based upon the right combination of exhibitors, family & kids attractions, entertainment, food and demonstrations. Reaching a broad demographic. The Riverina Field Days has become an event on Griffith’s calendar that people look forward to and is only field day being held in the M.I.A.
In 2021, The Riverina Field Days had a huge focus on Farmer’s Health and well-being, with the purpose of providing free support and advice to anyone needing help or assistance. We created a ‘Farmers Health Hub’ But it’s wasn’t just for farmers! The entire community can discover and access a variety of organisations and professional help for FREE! We felt it was important to support not only our farmers, but individuals and businesses who may be still feeling the effects of the past drought or COVID impacts. We hope to grow space this each year.
So, why is the Riverina Field Days so important to the community?
This region produces quality food and fibre products and is widely known as the ‘food bowl’. The Riverina Field Days is the perfect opportunity to showcase what’s new in farming, best farming practices, new technology, and a networking opportunity. It’s important to support, encourage and lift the profile of our ag industries. The event also boosts our local tourism economy, with people travelling from far and wide, most staying a night or two.
There is a great deal of infrastructure in place at the Griffith Showgrounds such as permanent toilet facilities, ample parking, secure fencing, seating and buildings providing exhibitors with undercover areas, thus saving marquee hire. Sizes of sites range from 20m x 20m down to 6m x 6m, powered or non powered. We welcome you to become an exhibitor and/or visit the Riverina Field Days.

History of The Riverina Field Days
The Riverina Field Days evolved from a field day that had previously been held at Yanco from 1988 to 2006 and was owned and operated by local Griffith media interests WIN Television & Radio 2RG, Griffith. The Riverina Field Days are always held on the second Friday & Saturday in May each year.
In July 2006 the event found a new owner, new home and was given a new name ‘The Riverina Field Days’ and is now held at the Griffith Showgrounds under the auspice of the Coro Club. The Griffith Showgrounds became the ideal venue as it provides a great deal of infrastructure already in place- with ample room, parking, toilet facilities, power and more. The Coro Club contributes a generous fee to the Griffith Showground Trust each year for the use of the grounds and donates to multiple community organisations for their assistance on the day.
Since moving the event to Griffith with a much larger population base, the event has seen a marked increase in crowd numbers year after year.
The Riverina Field Days continues to be the only field day held in the M.I.A.
